ZF Extends Contract of CHRO Dr. Lea Corzilius
- Corzilius joined the ZF Board of Management in August 2023
- Supervisory Board underscores continuity and commitment to Transformation
Friedrichshafen, Germany. At its meeting on November 28, 2025, the Supervisory Board of ZF Friedrichshafen AG extended the contract of Dr. Lea Corzilius for a 5-year term until 2031. Corzilius oversees Human Resources and Governance, leads the ZF Aftermarket Division, and serves as Labor Director for the Group.
“Dr. Lea Corzilius has played a key role in ZF’s strategic realignment to secure the company’s future competitiveness,” said Dr. Rolf Breidenbach, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. “She was instrumental in shaping the restructuring agreement for the Electrified Powertrain Technology Division, concluded with the Works Council and IG Metall union just weeks ago. The extension of her contract signals continuity and determination in advancing ZF’s transformation. Dr. Corzilius is a highly skilled team player with a clear focus on future viability. She balances corporate and employee interests with fairness and integrity in challenging times. I look forward to continuing our collaboration.”
Simon Blümcke, Mayor of Friedrichshafen and representative of the Zeppelin Foundation, which holds 93.8 percent of ZF shares, added: “Dr. Corzilius has made a decisive contribution to ZF’s transformation, most recently as architect of the restructuring agreement. The extension of her contract strengthens the team that will lead ZF into the future. Supervisory Board, Management Board, and Works Council share responsibility for the company’s future. About Dr. Lea Corzilius
Dr. Lea Corzilius studied economics at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and HEC Paris and earned her doctorate at TU Dortmund. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Heidelberg University. After various roles in industry, she joined ZF’s Board on August 1, 2023, responsible for Human Resources and Governance. Since October 1, 2025, she has also led the ZF Aftermarket Division.
