ZF Chief Human Resources Officer decides against contract extension
- Chief Human Resources Officer Sabine Jaskula is not available for a contract extension in 2024 at her own request
- Search for successor has already begun
Friedrichshafen, Germany. Sabine Jaskula, the ZF Board of Management member responsible for Human Resources, Sustainability, Legal Affairs, and Compliance, has informed the ZF Supervisory Board that she will not be available for a pending contract extension in January 2024 due to personal reasons.
“My contribution to successfully steering the company through crises and transformation is the most significant milestone of my career to date. This is also due to the fact that ZF is a special company with an outstanding international team, with which I will remain associated even after my departure,” said Sabine Jaskula about her decision.
Jaskula moved from Continental to ZF in 2019. During her time as Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director, she has positioned and internationalized the organization of the Human Resources department as well as the Legal and Compliance departments, for which she was also responsible, ensuring that they are fit for the future. Tasked with the topic of sustainability, Sabine Jaskula developed a holistic sustainability strategy and a comprehensive implementation program with externally communicated milestones.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Heinrich Hiesinger, deeply regrets Jaskula’s decision. “Thanks to Sabine Jaskula’s leadership, her areas of responsibility have significantly developed in recent years and have thus made a significant contribution to the implementation of the ZF strategy.”
“I deeply regret Sabine Jaskula’s personal decision; however, I also respect it. I thank her for her future-oriented instincts and for the excellent cooperation over the past four years,” said Andreas Brand, representing the Zeppelin Foundation.
Meanwhile, the company has already begun the search for possible candidates to succeed Jaskula.
