Helping Independent Workshops Stay Ahead of Automotive Innovation
ZF Aftermarket announced today the official launch of ZF [pro]Tech plus in Mexico, marking an important milestone in the company's commitment to helping independent workshops strengthen their technical capabilities through advanced training, expert support and professional development.
Following its introduction at INA PAACE Automechanika in July, the first ZF [pro]Tech plus training event in Mexico has attracted nearly 30 technicians, reflecting strong demand from independent workshops seeking to keep pace with rapidly evolving vehicle technologies.
Expert Training for Today’s Complex Vehicles
ZF Aftermarket's award-winning ZF [pro]Tech program helps workshops address the increasing complexity of today's vehicles through expert-led training, technical support and direct access to ZF expertise. The ZF [pro]Tech workshop concept is available in two versions: ZF [pro]Tech start and ZF [pro]Tech plus. In addition to all the advantages of ZF [pro]Tech start, the latter offers further benefits such as personal on-site support and annual participation in technical training on changing topics. There is currently already a network of ZF [pro]Tech start workshops across Mexico. ZF Aftermarket plans to significantly expand this network with both ZF [pro]Tech start and ZF [pro]Tech plus workshops within the next two years.
The first ZF [pro]Tech plus training event in Mexico covers ZF 8HP transmission diagnostics and repair, hybrid and high-voltage systems, ADAS, electronic steering, electronic parking brake diagnostics and smart chassis technologies.
Technicians gain practical skills that improve diagnostic accuracy, repair quality and confidence when servicing today's advanced vehicle systems.
"ZF [pro]Tech has demonstrated its value around the world by helping workshops strengthen technical capabilities and prepare for emerging vehicle technologies," said Francisco Moreno, Head of Network Management, ZF Aftermarket North America. "We are proud to officially launch ZF [pro]Tech plus in Mexico and support workshops with the knowledge, training and expertise they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving repair environment."
Building a Stronger Workshop Network
The launch of ZF [pro]Tech plus further expands ZF Aftermarket's commitment to delivering solutions that combine technical education, product expertise and industry-leading support for independent workshops.
Participants gain access to structured training, technical resources and direct engagement with ZF experts, helping workshops build capabilities, stay current with vehicle technology trends and strengthen long-term business performance.
Helping Workshops Prepare for What’s Next
As vehicle technologies continue to evolve through electrification, connectivity and advanced chassis systems, access to specialized technical education is becoming increasingly important for independent repair professionals.
Through the launch of ZF [pro]Tech plus in Mexico, ZF Aftermarket is reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting workshop success through practical training, advanced technical knowledge and expert support.
