With the TRW Range Update 2026, ZF Aftermarket presents its revised and expanded product range of motorcycle brake pads. The catalog has been expanded to include 1,000 additional applications, as well as nearly 40 new part numbers for current motorcycle models from all segments. The motorcycle experts again placed particular emphasis on launching suitable products for new vehicle models shortly after their sales launch – examples include BMW R 1300 GS /GS Adventure, Ducati V4/V4s Panigale and Kawasaki Z 900. The pads are designed to meet the requirements of over 7,500 motorcycle models and offer full coverage of the European vehicle fleet. They are ECE R90 homologated for road use.

Electric Motorcycles, Scooters, Quads and Chinese vehicles

The updated TRW range also features a wide range of applications for electric motorcycles, which market share is growing steadily. In this EV area, the number of models covered by TRW brake pads has increased by 38% and now includes products for BMW CE 04, Husqvarna EE-3, Kawasaki Ninja E-1 and Yamaha NEO, among others.

Plus, aftermarket brake pads for vehicles from Chinese manufacturers, some of which are marketed under traditional Italian names, such as Benelli, CF Moto, Moto Morini, or Voge are now part of the TRW portfolio. In addition, besides parts for classic motorcycle market, the TRW brake pad range is also aimed at segments such as scooters, quads, and SSVs (side-by-side vehicles).

Copper-free TRW brake pad compound

The technical update focuses on optimized friction materials for consistent, long-lasting braking performance in a variety of riding and environmental conditions – from commuting to touring to sports use. The range includes twelve different friction material compounds, tailored to different riding styles and application scenarios. The NRS backplate system ensures a permanent bond between the friction material and the backing plate, even at extreme temperatures. A special formulation reduces the amount of abrasion, keeping the wheels and brake calipers cleaner. The pad compounds do not contain any heavy metals and are copper-free.

The combination of OE quality - based on experience in safety-related original equipment systems - and broad availability makes it easier for workshops and parts dealers to provide every customer with the right solution. With its TRW brand, ZF Aftermarket acts as a one-stop shop with a wide range of products that simplifies parts ordering and speeds up the repair process.
