ZF's steer-by-wire system

In ZF's steer-by-wire system, a mechatronic actuator positioned between the wheels serves as the sole source of steering force. Two new contracts from Chinese automakers have already been received for this technology. ZF has also secured a contract from Mercedes-Benz, with series production scheduled to begin in 2026.
